Entry Into Adulthood!

How long has it been? 3 months? Ah yes of course. National Service. Well, 2 days more and I'll be done with the 1st part of NS. My own desk is awaiting me at Ministry of Home Affairs. And yes it's at Novena; 10 minutes from my place. =p Not exactly what I wanted but 8.30am to 6pm, 5 days a week with my own desk isn't so bad afterall.

Ok, so let's see... Oh yes! My 21st! First and foremost I want to thank ALL of you for coming down! Never expected so many of you to turn up! Thanks for your gifts! And thanks for finishing all the food... and more! Haha! Also for those who could not make it, thanks for all your well wishes as well! I could not thank all of you enough! Last but not least, a big thanks to my Mum for getting things organized at home while I was in camp!

Looking at the photos really give me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. I have been really fortunate to have met all these people and I would not want my past 20 years to have passed by any differently.

Finally Serving The Nation. Wakeboarding Spree!

So after more than 6 months after school ended, I'm finally serving the government & country. Oh and yes. It's only been 1 week & I'm out. Haha! Thanks to the fasting month for the Muslims.

Anyway just before I went in, I think I went on a crazy spending spree which is SO unlike me. No, not on clothes. On wakeboarding!!! It was damn fun going with Andre, Eric, Adelyn & Jervis. They made the trip even more interesting. Haha! GINA! Jerv, although you didn't go with us on the Cableboarding, I bet you will the next time am I right? Buahaha!

Hong Kong... Round 2!

Back with another travel entry! Other than Malaysia, this is the 1st time I've been back to the same country. This time I went back to HK for a family holiday with Mum & Bro unlike the previous trip here. I don't exactly travel with my family much so it definitely does feel different. Anyway having a brother you bicker with all the time to go along, isn't a sign of good things to come. Bad weather, got sick (came back home got even worse), renovations, etc etc. Damn. But at least the amazing hospitality of my HK friends kinda made up for it.

September 6th - 9th

Early Takeoff = Beautiful Sunrise	Disneyland Resort! Nope. Wasn't open yet. Didn't really want to go there anyway.	His face seems to be everywhere this time of the year.
Hong Kong!	Stayed @ Hyatt Regency HK.	Just look at how bad the haze was.
Practically ate @ this Macau-style Eatery everyday. Fried Rice kicks arse!	Travelled mainly by train(MTR)...	...& the famous Star Ferry!
Didn't get to try this the last time. Pretty nice.	Was able to get some nice perspectives of HK Harbour.	I think this Jap girl has the hots for me. =p

You'll find the occasional basker/begger on the streets.	My really cool HK Yoyo friends took us around by bus & foot.	Taking the bus lets you have a glimpse at Hong Kong alleyways.
Another thing I missed out the previous trip... Victoria's Peak! Damn renovations! No Peak Tram. No Peak-top Marche. ARGH!	Pretty cool to stay up so high eh? Imagine the views!	Family &...

A very expensive one I must say. Haha! It was just one of those things when I saw it, I knew I was going to get it.

When Steve Jobs gave his keynote address & pulled IT out of his small jeans pocket, you could actually hear the gasps in the crowd. It was the first time anyone saw it. It was those kind of moments when you just felt like crying because it was just so beautiful. Do I make it sound exaggerated? Try watching the keynote address for yourself, it's right at the end. It has other interesting stuff like a teleconference with Madonna over iChat on his PowerMac.
