Camp Overdose... And Loving It!
Camp Blue Blood (Kent Ridge Hall Exposure Camp) 4 - 5 June
A short 2 day camp yet it was jam-packed with tons of fun as well as happening people the moment I stepped into the hall! It was also the virgin experience of staying in hall. Gak vs Guy ratio, 3:1
Highlights
- Group Name - Harald
- Meeting Ting Kuang, long lost secondary schoolmate. He was our group councillor!
- "Capture" was a really happening game! Imagine Block Catching + Treasure Hunting with tons of twists!
- War Games were super fun too!
- Nice memento given to us by our group councillors. Very thoughtful of them! Love it!
Fantasheares (Sheares Hall Exposure Camp) 11 - 14 June
Another action-packed camp! A little more laid back 'cause it was 4 days but definitely no lack of fun & excitement! It is also the hall which I will be moving into. Soon to be a Shearite! Can't wait to move into hall! Gak vs Guy ratio, 3:1
Highlights
- Group Name - Ali Baba
- Limitless energy from the councillors! What do they run on?! Shoutout to Gilyn, Haojie, Dina, Qingjun & Rodney!
- A great group! Somehow we just seemed to click really well. And now we are one bunch of pretty close buggers!
- Late Night Confessions!
- Being Jack Sparrow! Rehearsals were so much more hilarious than the actual!
- The mess created from War Games was just unimaginable. Can't wait for the photos!
- SP was done really well, especially SP revelation!
Emerga Camp (School of Computing Orientation Camp) 25 - 28 June
A probably need-to-go camp 'cause we have to get to know our schoolmates right? The camp wasn't as crazy as the other camps but still met some really nice people! Gak to Guy ratio, 1:3
Highlights
- Group Name - Group 2 aka Casya The Archers
- A really fantastic group that clicked really well. You guys are a great bunch!
- A very memorable late night that can probably never be talked about outside the group! Hehe...
- So-called brother! Lol!
NUS Sports Camp (Sports Club) 2 - 7 July
This is the camp I rate probably the 1st, 'cause it had the most crazy, most daring, and most happening action going on than any other camp! 6 days 5 nights man! No joke! Big kudos to the MOMOs for organizing such a great camp! Gak to Guy ratio, 1:1. I will probably do a dedicated post on this camp once I get the main photos!
Highlights
- Group Name - Capone, House - Sopranos
- A group mixed with all kinds of people, yet somehow we managed to work so well together and won BEST OG! Go Capone!
- All the sports we tried! Motocross, Cableski, Windsurfing, Archery, Air Rifle, The Cage (Street Soccer), Dragonboating, Martial Arts, just to name a few.
- All the fun stuff we tried! DHL Balloon, Banana Boat, Snow City, also just to name a few.
- Amazing Race with Night Cycling. 2 days 1 Night. 3 hours of sleep. Through all that it was still really fun, especially with my group! Something I will NEVER forget!
- Hardly even sleeping more than 4 hours every night.
- The forfeits are crazy. Pi Pa Kao! Wah Kao!
- Fright Night was not bad. They must have taken a lot of work to prepare it but definitely hoped it would have been more scary.
- Pyjama Party! Can't believe the 1st runner-up pair man! Mad! Lol!
- Gave me the darkest tan I've probably ever had. And I lost 2kg! Ha!
So now that camps are all over, I just look forward to my last day at work (REALLY CAN'T WAIT) and moving into Sheares Hall! A beginning in another phase in my life! Life is going great for me now and can't see what awaits me ahead!

Anberlin & Copeland & Reed!
Please visit their MySpace here! Anberlin & Copeland
On another note, I gleefully served as a tour guide recently to Reed from San Francisco! Being yoyo players, it is so easy to be linked to other players all over the world. Comes as a great advantage for travellers like Reed and myself!
Anyway I believe Reed was 4 months into his half-year trip all over Asia, covering Laos, Malaysia etc. and after Singapore, headed for Philippines for another 3 weeks. (SO ENVIOUS! ARGH!)
Had a full day of Sentosa, Geylang Durians, Oyster Omelette, Beef Hor Fun, Frog porridge and shopping for cameras. Tiring but couldn't have had more fun! Looking for the day he returns the favour when I'm in San Fran!

Valentines!
Yeap! Been a while since I celebrated V Day but it doesn't matter. What's important was that it was spent with someone special. =)

Brasserie Wolf (for the night I give them 7.5/10 on the V Day arrangements). Pretty good I must say considering they almost forgot us for the boat ride. Salvaged only by the Manager's professional and personal service.

Yes, part of the night's activities was a cruise down Singapore River with a glass of champagne for each of us served by none other than Brasserie Wolf's Phantom of the Opera. Ended with a rose for the lady from the Phantom.

After losing all but 1 surprise for the night, she still enjoyed herself and that was more than enough satisfacation. =)

More Stuff Sprouting @ Vivocity

Sushi Tei was also pretty nice. Thought it'd be more expensive for how much we got but ended up pretty reasonable. Also recommended for the ambience and food.

BTW, Congratulations to newlyweds, Jasmine & Hubby! Wish you a wonderful life in Australia!

Thanks to all of you so much. When it comes to your birthdays, please forgive me too if I forget. I have this terrible memory and even forget my closest of friends birthdays. I even have problem remembering my Mum's and Dad's! =p
Anyway you all have a great 2007!
